MOUNTAIN GOAT:
AWW... That shaggy white animal with dagger horns with the original "goatee" that lives in the steepest most inhospitable country known to man! They can be very difficult to hunt or sometimes very easy. They are not afraid of man--in most cases they probably don't believe that we had the nerve to come up into their living room. In fact, being up there can be a major accomplishment and getting down can be the same especially with a cape and horns on your back. The mountain goat is still one of the least expensive trophy animals to hunt and will always represent a real adventure. Whether its a boat hunt in South East Alaska, dodging ice bergs and hiking around glaciers and boulder fields, sliding down steep slopes or a more traditional horse hunt--backpack hunt--goats will always challenge you and your endurance. No trophy room is complete without one! In many cases one can combine your hunt with other animals like griz, brown or black bear or moose at a very reasonable add-on cost.
